Battersea Power Station Phase 4a

I am currently working as a consultant for Patel Taylor, carrying out a compliance monitoring role during construction, with handover to Peabody in July 2023.

Battersea Power Station Phase 4a provides 386 affordable apartments for rental and discount market sale. Conceived as a complete framework for living, the development also has a 2,000m² NHS health centre and 1,000m² of incubator work spaces at ground level. The architecture reinterprets the classic London mansion block to give 90% dual aspect homes, each with a private balcony or terrace. The elegant red brick and white precast detailing is inspired by Battersea’s Prince of Wales Drive. Half the site is formed of publicly accessible open space in a range of landscape settings. At the heart of the site, the garden square is composed of a series of flexible, linked spaces that offer a choice of backdrops for social activities, leisure and reflection.
