Beach House, Israel
A Beach House
Within a stone’s thow of the beach, this L-shaped house is designed to benefit from sea views and cooling evening breezes. The two wings of the house are separated by a tall entrance hall: one wing has a main bedroom suite above a tall living space; the other wing has a set of three bedrooms above a study and kitchen-dining area that is linked to a garden level terrace. Internal stairs lead up to a second floor roof garden. The house is clad in local limestone with white concrete roof edges and copings. The garden spaces around the house each have a different theme according to their orientation: a dry garden facing east (the desert side), a mediterranean garden facing south and a water garden facing west (towards the sea).
