Located opposite the BBC building on Wood Lane, a new Hammersmith & City Line station provides a public transport link to the north end of the Whitecity (now Westfield) site and new emerging residential sites to the north. The scheme consisted of a new station entrance raised above the Central Line tunnels, a pair of new curved platforms on the raised viaduct, public realm improvements and a new bridge over Wood Lane.
