This 2-form-entry primary school sits on a tight urban site at the far east end of the Wood Wharf masterplan. Accommodation is distributed over 3 storeys with rooftop playgrounds on the first and third floors. Following detailed consultation with Tower Hamlets Education Department, it was initially designed and completed as a shell + core building by Canary Wharf Contractors. Subsequently, we progressed the design of the fit-out to RIBA Stage 3 Employer’s Requirements for a design-and-build tender for Tower Hamlets. The project is due for final completion in September 2022.

My role was team leader through from Stage 2 to handover of shell + core work and subsequently during Stage 3 detailed design.
